A LIGHT HAS BEEN BROUGHT INTO THE WORLD

“Listen carefully, I am about to do a new thing, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even put a road in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.”

Isaiah 43:19

Beloved, my wife and I are officially parents! I want to honor my amazing, strong, and beautiful wife!! I’m so proud of her for the intentionality she took caring for our baby girl throughout the entire pregnancy! She ate amazingly, walked, exercised, researched all the things and all the stuff, played worship music to her, and faithfully prayed over her! I have such a new and profound respect and honor for moms all over!

We were not planning on an emergency C Section but that’s what we found ourselves faced with on May 10th, 2025. Regardless of our plans, the timing and precision of everything worked out masterfully. For those of you who haven’t followed our journey, on Fathers Day we miscarried BUT on the day before Mother’s Day we welcomed Lucy Harmony Searer into the world! This was totally a redemptive God thing and we are so blessed and grateful for how the Father looks over us.

Born on 5/10/25 at 3:42pm, Lucy is a healthy baby girl coming in at 6lbs and 2oz with an overall length of 19.488 inches.

TWO TESTIMONIES

While on the property of our ministry building that God gave us, you will experience a powerful peace that washes over you. I'm excited for when we are open so you can experience this! I often like to getaway to the building to pray, read, take notes, study, and even sometimes take a nap in the pew! (Hey, Jesus napped...) After visiting early one day in May, I grabbed my things and went outside to leave. Upon exiting, I noticed my next door neighbors were outside. I have been very intentional about reaching out to my neighbors and taking time to talk with them when I see them outside and this time was no exception.

Upon talking to the neighbor, she really opened up to me about her life story. It involved abuse, tragedy, brokenness, and even church hurt. She told me she was thrown out of two churches because she prayed in tongues. She even shared with me that she has cancer. I asked if I could pray for her and she agreed. During the prayer I received words of knowledge for several parts of her body that I commanded to be healed in the name of Jesus! One of those parts were her legs. I even stopped mid prayer, looked at her legs and said, "I command these legs to be strong now!" and "I see God restoring padding on your feet."

After the prayer I asked her how she feels. She said, "Amazing!" I was curious how much pain she was in and if the words of knowledge I received made sense. She said every word was spot on! As far as her pain, she told me she was at a level 10 excruciating pain and could barely stand before I came over and prayed BUT now she was at a ZERO pain level!!!

Thank you Jesus 🙌

The second testimony is about kitchen cabinets! One part of our ministry building we want to create is an upstairs kitchen. I was looking for deals on items that could help bring the kitchen a little closer to being complete. While perusing Facebook Marketplace, I came upon a listing for kitchen cabinets listed at $1,000. Long story short, this woman was interested in what we would use them for so I shared about our ministry. Well, she donated all the cabinets and countertops for FREE!! They still need cleaned up and I plan on spraying them white before installing but we now, with a little elbow grease, have beautiful oak cabinets to further the progress of the upstairs kitchen!

MEN'S PRAYER MEETING TOMORROW THE 21ST!!

On Wednesday, May 21st, we’ll be hosting our first Men’s Morning Prayer Gathering at the Psalm 72 ministry building located at 134 Shaw Ave, Lewistown, PA. This is a significant spiritual milestone as we unite to pray, speak life, and declare God’s promises over our region. 15+ men from River Church of Juniata County will be joining us, and all men are welcome to be part of this powerful time of intercession and brotherhood. Prayer will begin at 6:00 AM and wrap up around 7:00 AM, followed by a tour of the ministry building and breakfast together at Vince’s. This is more than a meeting—it’s the start of spiritual momentum that will shape what’s ahead. Come be part of what God is building from the ground up.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

Serve Saturdays in June!

Every Saturday in June, we’re inviting volunteers to join us at the Psalm 72 ministry building as we prepare the space for upcoming events and ministry gatherings. This is a hands-on opportunity to sow your time and energy into something with eternal impact. There’s plenty to do—from sweeping the parking lot and scraping old paint to shampooing carpets, cleaning pews, organizing supplies, and deep cleaning the bathrooms. Whether you have an hour or a full day, your help makes a difference. Come ready to work, fellowship, and partner with what God is doing in our region. Let’s steward the space well together!

If you have tools, cleaning supplies, vacuums, or anything that could assist in the cleaning process please bring them along! If you plan to attend any or all of the Saturdays in June, please reach out to us to let us know you are attending.

ENCOUNTER NIGHTS

Something powerful is coming this July—Encounter Nights are launching! These gatherings will be a space for people to meet with the presence of God in raw, Spirit-led ways. Each night will center around worship, prayer, prophetic ministry, healing, teaching, and simply making room for the Lord to move. We are not just hosting another church service; we’re preparing a place for revival to stir, for chains to break, and for hearts to be set on fire again. These nights will be spontaneous, Spirit-filled, and centered on encountering Jesus. Whether we gather once or twice that first month, our aim is to build a rhythm of encounter that can be sustained and multiplied. We’re not rushing—this is about long-term revival, not short-term hype.

We’re asking everyone to not only attend—but to consider becoming a part of the move. If you feel called to serve, if your church or ministry wants to co-lead an Encounter Night, or if you’re musically gifted and want to be part of the worship flow, we’d love to connect with you. Whether it’s setting up, praying for others, teaching, or ushering in worship—we believe the Lord is drawing people into their calling. Let’s build this together.

Revival starts with hunger—and hunger moves Heaven.

FUNDRAISING: THREE FOCUSES

Fundraising is more than just gathering finances — it’s an invitation for the Body of Christ to partner with God’s vision and be a part of something eternal. Kingdom vision requires Kingdom provision because every God-given assignment comes with needs that, when met, demonstrate His faithfulness and the unity of His people. As we build spaces for ministry, train disciples, send missionaries, and serve communities, it takes resources — physical, financial, and spiritual — to bring these things to life. Provision follows vision, and when people sow into what God is doing, they’re not just giving to a project, they’re investing in transformed lives, restored families, healed hearts, and communities awakened to Jesus.

🙌 Monthly Missionary Support – $5,000/Month Goal

As Psalm 72 grows, my wife and I are stepping into full-time missionary roles to lead and develop the vision God has given us. We’re raising $5,000 a month in monthly support to cover our living expenses, ministry costs, and enable us to fully invest our time and energy into building this ministry. This support will allow us to lead outreaches, run Encounter Nights, build the Ministry School, and oversee mission trips — as well as pastorally care for those God sends our way. By joining our monthly team, you’re investing directly in the harvest and making it possible for us to fully give ourselves to this work.

🚻 Bathroom Renovation Fundraiser – $9,000 Goal

We’re currently raising funds to install three brand-new bathrooms at our church property at 134 Shaw Avenue, Lewistown, PA. This is a huge need as we transform this facility into a welcoming space for ministry, worship nights, and community outreach. The bathrooms will include a men’s room, a women’s room, and a handicap-accessible family restroom equipped with thoughtful features like a changing table and toddler seat. This $9,000 project covers everything from plumbing and electrical to drywall, flooring, and fixtures — and every donation gets us one step closer to opening these doors for guests, families, and students!

🏠 Student Housing Basement Renovation – $100,000 Goal

Our long-term vision for Psalm 72’s Ministry School involves not only discipling and equipping students but also providing safe, comfortable on-site missionary housing. We’re fundraising $100,000 to completely renovate the basement of our church building into student living quarters. This will include bedrooms, bathrooms with showers, a shared laundry area, and a community kitchen space. This space will house students coming to train, be discipled, and launched out for ministry — both locally and internationally. It’s a huge part of building our missional community and giving students a place to encounter God daily as they grow and serve.

Has God placed it on your heart to DONATE? We are looking for monthly supporters to sustainably further God's mission through Psalm 72.

All donations are tax deductible. Psalm 72 is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
